Well, as some pointed out, it smells. And I thought so, too. The part that I couldn't figure out is how they would send a certified check, which I obviously would cash immediately, before forwarding money to the "shipping company". Reading APB's attacment clarified this. I didn't realize it took so long to truly clear a check and that my bank could come back on me if it didn't clear. Sometimes I guess it just doesn't pay to be a trusting type person. Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Anyone want to buy a big bridge in New York?JH
