This way I hope to reduce the Spam (I get a lot less then 30 a day) and I believe that most people can figure out how to contact me anyway.
Since I added the (remove this) to my address on this site I have seen a dramatic decrease in spam overall, though I do still have days when I get more.
My main Spam problem is that I get a lot of very unclear titles, and I have to open them to see if they are some legit person. Other then that 98% of my Spam gets caught in my Spam filter, and only about 2% of my legit messages get sent there by mistake.
I am never sure if I should be offended or not by the spam I get, most of it is for performance enhancing drugs, stock tips, or home loans. I no longer get many offers to enlarge myself, or my mammary glands, both of which were common in my inbox a few years ago. Back then I felt my inbox had a gender identity disorder, and I was not sure how to help it be what it wanted to be. :-)
