Galen, I put a 251 in my 42 WC53. I don't know whether you're converting a WC or PW but I found you can not just turn the U radiator bracket 180 degrees on a WC. The bolt holes for the fender supports are not centered. I had to have a radiator custom made. I used the radiator's side mounting brackets but flipped them to the opposite side on the new radiator. Also, by trimming them down a little I was able to slide the radiator/brackets into the center of the U rather than simple bolting to the outside (front). I also had to make a remote fill tank and mounted it on the firewall. Good luck.
