Galen, did you have the cab off of the frame also?
Did you move the radiator cowl 1.5" forward?
I'm guessing that the gaps you are talking about are between the radiator cowl and the hood, and the cab and the hood?
If so, the cab mounts may need to be shimmed to align the cab, cowl, hood and fenders.
Lastly, the hood support rods may no longer be correct, if the radiator cowl is "tilting".
Can you post photos? That may be a better help in understanding your problem.
