I am installing a new electronic distributor and Accel super coil and I am not sure what plugs I should use. I know that I should open the gap to .0045" or .0050". I am also replacing the wires with 8.5mm wires. Maybe this will give me some of my power back. The distributor is original, and I don't think it has ever been removed. One thing that I found out today is that Advance Auto list plugs with a 3/4" thread and a 3/8" thread depth. I measured the plug holes and it look like I should use the 3/8" plugs.
