In an earlier post I once confessed to purchasing a $1.00 Chinese hammer...and got blasted. The truth is, it's getting harder to find tools or anything made in this country.

Now, some good news. I recently ordered some drill bits and larger countersinks from a company on-line catalog that just sells American manufactured cutting tools. The HSS bits only have the blueing slightly worn after repeated use in mild steel. I have seen Chinese bits gapped and chipped after 3 cuts or less.
These guys ship the same day of order if they get the order before 3:00p Eastern. Try American, and I don't think you will go back.
Their link is http://www.carbideconnection.com/

Any links you guys will post for other sources of American stuff will always be appreciated.
