After driving my 1948 pw flat head for a couple of years, my guess is that your ass with give out first. Ha Ha. I would think that most flat heads have more hours then miles on them. A lot of idle time in farm work and military use. Norm's right depends on conditions, maintaince and engine quality. A well balanced machine can go a long time.
