For those of you who have contacted me, or have an interest, I have some more info on getting a Fargo nameplate reproduced.
The best lead I found there is a guy who uses the lost-wax method, which means no volume discount, but a nice quality product. His work looked very nice. The cost would be about $150 each, but I would need to get a firm quote after I send him a photo. They would fill the pits on mine, and make a nice polished stainless steel casting. These would be provided without mounting studs. He said these should be located individually anyway since small variations in production runs etc may mean they are not exactly the same from truck to truck. The studs would need to be applied with silver solder.
