Large corporations do it, who am I to judge?

If you buy something from a large name brand company there are often handling fees, so if a smaller company wants to do it that is their choice.

It is possible that the people that buy Richard's models at the $35 price point do not look at shipping, but that is silly on their part. He could be charging $35 with $20 shipping, and if they buy it they are agreeing to pay that.

I do not like handling fees either, but if I get a unusual book for $10, with $10 shipping, that is $20 for the book. If I feel that book is worth $40 to me, then I got a deal. When the book arrives in a used pizza box, packed in plastic grocery bags, I know they were charging a handling fee.

But I let it go unless the item is not as described, or damaged do to bad packing. I just may not buy from that buyer ever again.

And yes, the pizza box story is real!
