I don't deal with anyone that charges a Handling fee. That's the same as going in to buy a jar of Peanut Butter & having the store charge you a handling fee to ring you up at the till.
Lots of sellers do it...it's deceiving & dishonest. Richard sells more models when he lists them for $35 because the buyers overlook the details until it's too late.
If I can't bid & then pick the item up myself for the selling price...I don't bid.
To each his own....but it's willfully trying to deceive people no different than if I advertise a 2008 Dodge ram for sale in the newspaper for $20,000 & then in small print at the bottom put that there's a $20,000 PDI charge.
Not illegal....just immoral.
Good sellers on Ebay don't do it.
