Steve, I put that coating in my 32 roadster tank and it was new. I think this came from the aircraft industry and seems to be a good idea to me. Hold your breath. It is nasty smelling. Instructions on the container and avaiable at your auto parts store. I don't think it costs $40.00. Gary Troxel
