I did exactly the same thing as Nate for about 5 years. I made lots of money so I bought lots of very nice toys.
Ever wonder what happens to nice things when you don't have a garage to park them in? Long story short, the paint peeled on my truck, paint faded on my motorcycle, and the gel coat is trashed on my boat...
Buy the house first so you have a nice place to keep and work on the toys...
I learned my lesson the hard (and expensive) way...
