2 channel brakes. i wanted new safe brakes on all four corners. i had a m37 with perfectly adjusted stock brakes. running on a single circuit was unnerving as i always thought about it. upgrading the engine in my m37 tipped the scale and i went 4 corner discs and a dual master. the difference was significant. like you say, lose one wheel cylinder and your in deep. with the discs, you can leave your truck idle for long periods of time and the brakes wont stick. any rust on the rotors abates quickly and you are back in business. im in the trucking biz and know how good drum brakes can be. even with the heavy duty trucks, it is no longer a reline, cut drums, etc world. its replace everything as it cheaper to buy complete kits now than it is to expend the labor to rebuild and reline what you have.
