My $1,000 truck has $7,000 in it so far. So what's a couple welders added into the bill?

To do your own restoration, you'll need an acetylene rig, for heating frozen parts, expanding housing to get them to let go of bearings, and brazing. Plus, pin point heat for shrinking those sheet metal parts back into shape- to get rid of bumps and oil-cans. But you can hardly use it to weld sheet metal- the heat is too broad, and makes for more warpage. So you will also need:

A MIG. 110v is OK for sheet metal, if you already have a stick welder for heavier stuff. Otherwise, one 220v MIG would do.

Or maybe a TIG instead. But I tried it. I guess I've done tooo much stick. I keep feeding the Tungsten into the puddle, like it was a stick. But if you are a virgin welder...

And a Bernzo-matic type propane torch for heat-shrink electrical stuff.

Power Wagons and Hot Stuff, like ham and eggs!
