I had a brand new car. Went in for a broken taillight lens. (A motorcylclist had kissed it with his handlebar) The toothless goober at the dealership, who took an hour to do what a human could have done in 10 minutes (the flat rate book said 2/10ths of an hour) scratched the paint with what appeared to have been a longshoreman's hook.
When I complained, the dealership gave me a song & dance, but finally, under threat of a law suit, made an appointment for the body work.
They said just leave it here, and we will take the car to the body shop, and you can come get the car here when it's done.
Went back, started the car in the dealership parking lot, got no oil pressure, and found that there was no oil in the engine.
