Bought an 83 0ne ton chev for the axles. ( I consider chevs as donor vehicles) the tow truck driver dropped the thing in my front yard . My wife never said a word except . " whats that truck for ? " The front yard is not exactly the place to wreck vehicles . The lot across the street just sold for 1.3 million dollars. My Auhtistic son was most upset .
" Whats the ----- is that pile of ------- doing there ? You gdah that is my parking spot "
Anyways I fired some fogging oil down the sparkplug holes. I was going to pull the distributer and prime the motor and then hook up the fuel line to a gas can .
But I was bad.
I pulled the battery out of my pickup and tossed it in the 83 . Fired up the motor on the 4 year old gas...............It fired right up on the first turn. I drove it around back after letting it idle for about 3 minutes. The thing never stalled and runs better than my bush truck.
kinda figures.

not only that randy's ring and pinion dropped off my new 35 spline side gears and clutch plates for a powerlocker that I had lying around. What a nice pleasant hassle free day this has been.
Now if some guy would take the 454 ,turbo400 and 205 off my hands for a fair price I would be really dancing.
