I realized that I could simplify the header mechanism slightly, and I had to move the motor rearward to make room for the mechanism inside the kick plate.
I may re-design the motor end to take a more universal motor. That one is a one speed, but has the built in mechanism to make only 115 degrees of reciprocal stroke. You ought to see the monkey motions inside. My improved plan would be a system with external linkage to make the reciprositations. It's tough, without putting excess side motion to the cable.
