Do it with the steering straight ahead. You have to remove the cap nut- it unscrews- then a lock washer gismo, then turn the screw, replace the locker gismo, and the cap. I just did mine last week. Tighten the screw hand snug, then back it off about at least one turn. Best to do it with the axle up in the air, to check for ease of turning. Test drive carefully- overtightening can lock up the steering. Slightly too tight and you will get arm weary just going around the block. Too loose, still shimmy.
