Hello:
In Hagerstown, Maryland is the best vintage engine-flathead guy I know. Starting with a bare block, he built me a beautiful 230 for my 1953 M37 almost 10 years ago. She's still running like new. The only "problem" we had was the fuel pump. After going through several and getting stranded several times, we put in a marine 24v electric pump and I haven't had anymore problems.

This summer, he completely rebuilt the 134 in my 1952 M38. For the first time in 10 years, starts easy, runs strong and doesn't leak a drop - not yet anyway.

He's an older guy and really understands the vintage engines. He is a race engine specialist, by the way.

Denny's Auto Machine
Virginia Ave, Hagerstown, MD 301 582-2848.
He's not "cheap" but all goods and services are worth the price charged and he stands behind his work 100%.
