Man was that ever a busy weekend and yesterday was a real zoo for me. I met lots of new friends. I actually stayed in the pit area with a bunch of great guys. Rodger next to me raced his truck Bubba and the Hall Family who runs the Monster trucks Ramination and Raminator took great care of me and are now great friends. They loved my WC 53.

This is the first major show that I have ever entered. There were 5,000+ trucks there. Man was it busy at times. I decided to have my truck judged and did just fine. Green Machine won 3 awards.

Class Winner for Full sized SUVs.
2nd for All Mopars.
Both of these awards were in the Street category.

I also took the longest drive at 2,400 miles to get there. I was really shocked that I did that well in my first ever show and it happened in the largest 4X4 and Off Road show in the US. I feel very honored.

Also when I was there a few other things happened. I was invited to the show when I was in Reno in August. The guy who invited me actually runs the monster trucks and mud races at this show and many others. He was impressed with Green Machine in Reno and arranged several photo shoots of the truck while I was there. He said he would do that for me if I came and he came through.

Yesterday morning, Extreme 4X4 TV spent over an hour interviewing me and shoot video of the truck.

Later I was taken out on to the monster truck track for an additional photo shoot when they gave me a lot of photos.

Four Wheel magazine also did a shoot of the truck over the weekend.

Also Gaugemagazine.com did a photo shoot of the truck and it will be on line in the near future.

To end up the day yesterday ESPN spent 45 min interviewing me and shooting additional video of the truck. It was a very busy day to say the least.

Well COTM it seems that doing the dyno in Reno may not have been the best thing to do, but it sure opened the door for me as it caught the attention of the right person.
