the safe & prudent course of action would be
to get a licensed electrician to come & check
the compressor & what power you might have
available & then install the correct braker
& connections
i realize that all the DIYers will flak me for this post but
you might also want to check your homeowners
insurance to see coverage for DIY jobs
the phrase that strikes terror in a Real Estate person is:
"I know its right - I did it myself"
