i don't want you to think i'm bashing my country because i'm siting sects of our society that are intolerant and non-accepting. if you read my post again, you'll see that i mentioned that we might have been the most accepting at one time, but that time is gone and most places in Europe are more tolerant (overall) than we are.
a lot has changed since WWII ended, and our societies have evolved quite a bit. i agree that WWI and WWII were won because of US intervention, and the US did a great thing by helping out.
but i'm not talking about 50 years ago, or even 20 years ago. i'm talking about now.
