I tried some ABS Solvent Weld cement on an interior part of the housing. It did soften the surface quite a bit. Based on that test, I went ahead and solvent welded the two halfs together. Its now clamped till tomorrow. Then I will 'sister' a splint over the crack and roughen the surface and epoxy. THat should be good to go.
