....I'm not sure what you consider an Athiest....I certainly don't believe there's any euphoria after death. No angels, no spirit rising out of my body to meet St. Peter at the gate....no more likely than meeting St Nick on my roof.
That being said, I love life....maybe more than you since you think you're going to a better place one day.
I'll happily share a foxhole with you though. I'll watch your back as well as any Jew or Christian...I assure you.
By the way...I was brought up going to church on Sundays. The information I received over those 17 years I deemed rediculous & proposterous.
That being said, I harbour no ill feelings towards anyone that's been brain washed.
I consider the bible great fictional reading. I'm sure there are some truths within it...as I'm sure there was when Dr. Suess wrote "The Grinch That Stole Christmas"
