You will get excellent results if you use Smooth-On Super Instant High Performance Industrial Epoxy. Visit www.smooth-on.com The "Super Instant" is fairly clear just a light haze. I have used it with great success on various hard plastics over the years. They also make EA-40 clear epoxy...this I have never tried.
