16900 are Christan
774 are of all other religions combined
2900 don't claim a religion in public
90 people are Atheist
the 90 Atheists want the 16900 Christians to not acknowledge God in public and remove all traces of Christianity in public because it offends them.
How about you go to the middle east and suggest (in public would be good) they remove all traces of their religion so that you don't feel like they are imposing on you when you go visit their countries.
Think about what the world would be like if you applied this concept to other things in life. The many should succumb so that the few may be comfortable.
Nobody is beating a drum here. The guy reached out to like minded people. The people who don't think like he does are the ones raising a stink. They should have just passed this thread over and let others who may want to embrace him do so without persecution. You don't have any problem passing up other threads that don't interest you.
BTW I have never preached my believes to anyone ever but after all the crap lately by the FEW non believers in this country I find myself wanting to pick a fight. It's a Christian society we live in. That doesn't mean you have to preach the word of god , but I sure don't have to and wont deny it.
