The idea of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates knowing all my deeds, has usually kept me on the right track since childhood. If this is a result of a Catholic upbringing it seems like a good thing. However how pure are my motives if Im behaving now, hoping for a payoff later? As far lying goes, Pink Floyd said it best "you have to be trusted by the people that you lie to"
