Engine swap technical question

I have a 1962 W300 (4x4) that has a 318 polywide engine w/ manual tranny.

I have a 1972 D200 (2x2) that has a 318 LA engine w/ automatic tranny.

Can I put the (1972 318 LA) into the 1962 W300 Power Wagon....is this compatable or will it require prohibitive modifications ???
