I use Firefox and McAffee and they work well with each other. The best thing about McAffee is that it doesn't bother you like Norton. Norton always wants permission, access, updates, dates....I hate it. McAffee just sits in the background with a big stick, so to speak. It never bothers you, but will never let a virus through. It's free too, which is always good. Many people don't realize that much of their computer software can be found for free someplace or another. Get McAffee and Firefox and you will be happy.

P.S. The thing about Firefox that many people misunderstand--It is not an ISP, just a browser. If you have any internet capability at all (dial up, satellite, DSL, T1...) then Firefox works for you. It is just a window into the internet you already have. You don't cancel your AOL, Netscape, or MSN. Keep all your current internet software, download Firefox, open Firefox, and enjoy. It understands that you have an internet connection and just splices itself in. Firefox is not "the internet", just a way to browse the internet.
