Oxy/Acet is just another tool. You need to look at what your main use will be. If lots of cutting in in your future, you may want to consider Plasma as it does a much better job. However if General Cutting, Brazing, Heating, Bending, gas welding etc is likly, then Oxy/Acet is the tool. Of course if you go plasma for cutting, then sometime you will still want Oxy/Acet for the above mentioned.

My Oxy/Acet is used much less than my Plasma.
They are two different tools.
