I am headed east to Indianapolis this Saturday. I was invited to bring my WC53 to the 4 Wheel Jamboree Nationals at the Indiana State Fair grounds. I will be there Friday through Sunday Sept 21st to 23rd. I will actually arrive in the area Thursday afternoon. I will take about 6 days to get there.
As I said I will have my 1942 WC53 Carryall (Green Machine) with me for the show. I will be towing it there. If it had street treads I might consider driving it (stupid thought).
It would be nice to see/meet people during this trip if possible.
I will be traveling to Boise, ID to pick up my brother then onto Salt Lake City to catch I-80. We will be making a stop or two on the way. I will be stopping at VPW as I have worked with those guys a lot but have never made it back there (now is the time to stock up on parts while the wife is not there). We will return via I-90 hitting the Badlands in SD, Cody WY (I want to see the Buffalo Bill exhibit again) and maybe some fishing in Yellowstone.
It will be a loooong trip. Close to 5,000 miles and I will be at full weight with both the camper on the truck and trailering the WC53 behind.
