Well, Old man winter will be converting Vermont into the Frozen Northern Wastelands way sooner than I would like. I need to reclaim a bit of inside storage for other items, so this beauty has to go! I bought it a few years ago as a parts truck but felt it was too nice to part out. I have been lazy about getting it out the door, but as I said, winter will soon be here.
The engine is set up, I pulled the head and put ATF or Marvel oil in the cylinders. I gave the pistons a few good raps with a hammer and a block of wood periodically but it hasnt moved. I have not delved into it any further than that. The dump bed looks decent, it needs to be hooked up but it appears to be complete. Cab has a bit of rust, but not bad, could be repaired pretty easily. The fenders arent bad, a bit dinged up but pretty rust free. Doors have been patched around the hinges, but they open and close.
The way the prices for parts trucks has been going, this is not a bad price for a project truck. I would be happy to take additional pictures on request.
Truck is located near Burlington Vermont. Delivery within about 400 miles can be arranged, for $1.50 per loaded mile, more if I am sober (just kidding!). Feel free to call with any questions, (802) 989-4106
A donation to Joe if it sells.
Price, $2,500 or best offer.
My other alternative is to part it out but I hate to do it, this truck still has a bunch of life left in her.
Thanks,
Tim
