I realized it's not common sizes but that is what they mic'd on a place where it wasn't rusted and with all paint removed. I plan on going with 16 guage. I was amazed at the difference that extra .012 thickness does for the strength of the panel. I was going to bend up some middle pockets on the brake out of an old civilian bedside when this thickness thing came to light. In your opinion what would be the best sheet steel to use, hot or cold rolled? I'll be cold forming.I normally use cold rolled but I can easily get hot rolled if it would be better.Thanks for any info, Kevin
