I am still trying to sell my '63 wm300

I put messages in the last two forums, so some of this info might be familiar....

1963 wm300
ser no 24612 61291
37384 miles
I am asking $1200 now ( I was asking for $1500 ). The truck is located in Central NJ, about 1 hour north of Philadelphia.
Also included in the price are seven extra wheels/tires and a mystery PTO winch. I haven't had time to figure out what kind of winch it is.

I am moving in 2-1/2 weeks and cannot take the truck with me. So any and all offers will be considered, but I do want a fair price for the truck.

The truck is currently not running, and has been partially disassembled, but it will roll, so it can be loaded onto a flatbed, or towed. The wheels are on it now. I have no way to do this so any buyer will need to arrange transportation somehow.

Some details: I bought the truck in running condition in 1996 with the intention of doing a complete restoration - it needs it. The engine ran, the brakes did not work. The sheet metal is all present except the tailgate. The wood and rails in the bed were completely rusted/rotted away.

The truck originally had a PTO winch but the winch, bumper, and drive shaft were removed long ago. The front drive shaft is also missing.

The sheet metal is in fair shape. The hood, cowl, and radiator sides are in good shape. The cab has some rust through at the winshield crank-out and at the lower door hinges. The rear of the cab at the bottom where it meets the bed is also rusted through. The cab has a dent in the pass side roof, and the bed is pretty well dented throughout.

The frame is in good shape except for the cross-member behind the cab which has some rust through. There was a pipe welded to this piece for a winch mounted over the cab and water collected in it and ate through the frame. The fenders and running boards are in fair shape, with rust at the bolt holes. The mounting brackets are in some cases pretty far gone.

I have had the gas tank completely refurbished and found the *POWER WAGON* and *DODGE* chrome for the hood ( the originals had dissapeared ). I put a new fuel pump on, and began a carburator refurb, but was not able to finish it. That is why the truck no longer runs. With all of the parts put back together it should run again.

This is perhaps best as a parts truck for another project ( as much as I hate to admit it ) but that is not up to me.

You can either e-mail me through the address above, or call 609 466 1308 after 6 at night ( eastern ). Please don't call after 9 'cause the kids are in bed.

Thanks,

Alex
