Appreciate all comments and opinions. Jokes, "duh's?", and other assorted guffaws okay too!

Pros:

Complete frame and drive train extremely straight and solid. Frame does have some rust and pitting but incredibly solid throughout (corners, etc) and straight, with some (orig?) paint still on. Engine, transfer case, rear end, front & rear axles, spring shackles, springs, spring grease fittings, rear bumper, all there and all look good. Rear springs look still strong (they bend up pretty high at ends). Front springs look pretty weak (they bend down at ends). Radiator, carb, generator, etc all in place. All shifting levers (transmission, transfer case) are in place in the cab. Didn't even think to see if they moved in/around the gear patterns!! Truck is 5 miles from my house. Have outside storage available behind 12' high chain link fence w/2 guard dogs there 24x7.

Cons

Cab kind of rough. But has no major dents in top, back, or cowl area. Rust/rot at all cab corners. Some holes in floor but can be repaired. No drivers side door. Passenger door there but pretty banged up. Windshield shot. Cowl area looks ok. Hood is there but bent quite a bit on sides. Front fenders look like cauliflowered ears of a wrestler. WInch bumper cut to pieces. No winch. No PTO shaft from transfer case. PTO takeoff on transfer case has metal shield bolted to it. No bed whatsoever. Owner said motor last started two years ago and smoked like the recent fires in New Mexico, and knocked pretty bad. No title. Wiring under hood canabilized real good. Never did any job this big. Not sure I wanna, either.
