Keith, many of us have made the same mistake as you when describing our Power Wagons. If your Power Wagon was made in 1955 then it is a C-3-PW as per Chrysler Chart and your door serial number plate. It should have a serial number starting with 83944001 and going up from there. They were only made in Detroit that year. Knowing that should help you to obtain correct parts and the correct options that were offered for that year model vehicle. The WDX was the first model offered, then the B & C series and finally the WM series starting in 1958! I obtained this information right from the Mopar/Chrysler Books! If you have a Parts manual then you can glance through it and obtain the correct part numbers and options. Some city libraries have these manuals on the shelves. I left a link earlier a few messages back and a link for Detroit Iron. Get yourself a Parts Manual and save yourself a whole lot of heartache. The parts you seek are out there, but it is a whole lot easier to find what you want if you can give an accurate description and part number. There were some changes on the Power Wagons, especially around the mid fifties, that's why I stress the parts manual. You will hear many things from many people but the book is your best guide, especially if you are trying to do an accurate restoration.
