I've been scouting Power Wagons for the last five years or so and have seen several hundred at least. I used to think they were rare, but now I know guys with four or five. It seems to me that they are coming out of the woodwork. Trouble is these are work trucks and most, except fire trucks, were worked really hard. It's hard to find one in good running condition for a decent price. Its easy to find any number of rusted-out, worn-down, chopped-up trucks that are maybe too good for parts but will take alot of work and money to fix right. Lots of guys are making one good one out of several loaner trucks. That said, I think there are several for sale on this forum that are worth the asking price. The guy in Michigan with the nearly restored truck comes to mind.

These trucks were made basically unchanged from 1946-1968 (1978 for export). That's a hell of a run! Don't know how it compares with muscle cars, sports cars, or other trucks. Good luck in your search!
