The only word that bothers in your posting is the word "IF".
If you're not sure, then don't buy one. Go to some rally's or find one for sale locally and check it out. Don't rush into it. I'm still looking for the right PW but I knew that I wanted one the first time I saw one -- no "if's" here!
Now, that's addressed, where are you and how far are you willing to go to find a PW? That will help these guys in determining if they may have something you'd be interested in. Also, since you're looking for a restored truck, check the Kruse auctions, Hemmings, etc... and you'll find one that suit you!
