the input for the stock Tcase is centered with the out put of tranny. so in theory it should line up but 32 inches sounds WAY too long. maybe if you cram engine all the way to the radiator and run a pusher electric fan on front? then again I helped a guy install a 350 chev and turbo 350 trans in a 51 PW and it fit quite well. drive line was 2 ujoints coupled together with a flange. cneter to center length on the ujoint set up was only about 5 inches. That truck drove well, it has since been converted back to a flathead
