I bought the county's old M135 brush fire truck a few years ago. It hadn't been run for as long as I've seen it sitting by the city hall, so the full tank of gas is probably at least 10 years old and more like 15. Still starts up perfectly on it. With the tranny blown, I haven't driven it far enough to use up much gas. Maybe the gas was better back then, or maybe the old GMC 302 isn't so picky as engines are today.
