....a new person coming to the Forum will not always know what is written in jest and what is written tongue in cheek and they especially will not get "inside jokes" (hell, there are a lot of old timers here that don't get most of what some of us write!).
Even serious and non threatening posts can be read wrong if the reader is having a bad hair day or didn't get past the third grade in reading comprehension, so it is best to wait until you know the poster until you start speaking in code.
Personally I didn't find more than 4 offensive things in your post, then again I have a hard time knowing the difference between cheap and inexpensive......= )
