heater colors?

hi,i have a late 56'ffpw,just changed water pump but bypassed heater,so i can remove, clean,and paint.my question is what is the proper color for this year?the silver dodge emblem paint original,but the rest is black.i have seen these heaters in brown and silver,i'ts a model 65.any help appreciated.thanks,mike
