I think the other reason is they seem to use the same tubing for both metric & standard sizes...since all of this tubing is likely made in Asia now. The OD of the tubing can easily be out by a few thousands"...which is enough for them to slip.
Snap on makes an awesome hydraulic set that's slick, slick, slick! problem is it's expensive, expensive, expensive!
I've wanted to buy one but so far haven't been able to justify the cost.
