It's not the rebuild issue.

My truck has 5.88's and I would like to install something that can tach higher than the flathead will allow.

A balanced big block can turn 5K all day if necessary (it will just use lots of gas)

Figured it would give a hp and torque increase and allow freeway speeds (or close) to boot...
