That's the way I'd do it if I went to discs. Not a fan of PW's with firewall mounted pedals.
I agree about the dangers of a single master. I have lots of trucks running single systems but I'd never run a truck with single brakes without going through everything...including all new brake lines, before I ever set out on the road. Even just driving them onto my trailer I've had original brake lines burst.
Another scary incident was I rebuilt all the brakes in a 1961 W300. I decided to leave the hydrovac because it seemed to be fine & I didn't know where to get the parts to rebuild it at the time.
I set out on my way to work...brakes seemed fine. got a mile frome my house & going down a hill in rush hour traffic...NO BRAKES! I swerved & nearly hit several cars...very very scary...for them! :)
The hydrovac had a leaking seal & sucked all the fluid from the system. I couldn't figure out what had happened....no fluid in the reservoir & no sign of a leak??
When I removed the hydrovac it was full to the top with brake fluid!
Can never be too careful with brakes, that's for sure.
