I think for me I would always go with the Dodge because pound for pound they have stronger parts in most cases. Bigger axle assemblies, stiffer springs, historicaly better transmissions (not always), etc.. If driven like a car and never used for serious towing or other work it doesn't matter too much. I have had 2 buddies with Triton engines blow spark plugs right out of the head. head needs replacing when this happens. they haul lots of weight. I would drive a ford before a toyota anyway. ;/)
