Now I am having idle probs on my 318 Poly with Stromberg 2 barrel. I haul with it once week or so. It always ran great then one day getting off freeway coming to a stop it dies. starts up again but have to keep my foot in it until it cools down a bit. So then I tuned it up, no difference. I rebuilt the carb, no difference. Acts like one of my flat heads used to act when fuel pump got too hot in traffic. I jsut cant' figure out how vapor lock could just start happening all of a sudden. On my flat head it happened because I didn't have a heat shield on the pump. It isn't overheating at all. never even breaks a sweat. theories anyone??
