Within 10 minutes they had a helicopter unloading firefighters, within 12 minutes a CAT D6 was unloading, within 15 minutes everybody having anything to do with firefighting was there working their butts off for containment. All I can say for CA firefighters: WOW! Excellent people and excellent system! Burned only 20 acres and spared my CAT 315 trackhoe by burning around it. Ignition point: A frigin' bird landed on the transformer, blew it and sparks went BEYOND the PG&E Clearing easement underneath the pole. Bird: dead.
