turned out the starter was the cause and also the non stock carb on the poly was not working right. Can't find a kit for hte carb, no tag and no valid casting numbers. Anyone got a rebuildable 2 barrel off a poly or an LA they dont' need? or a free 4 barrel Weiand and Edelbrock??;/)
