that is a Brownie 3 speed. I have one in a truck I am going to rebuild. i ahve only driven it a couple hundered miles. overdrive sure is nice when you have 4.88 gears and 31 inch ties. but they are noisy when in over or under. quiet in direct. overdrive is .86 to 1. I would ask the guy if he has the shifter and rods for it. the value is decreased without the shifter assembly.
